We live in sunny Florida...surrounded by plush foliage and beautiful wildlife...saltwater and natural springs...and too many state parks to count! SO, Chad and I decided on Saturday that on the weekends he's in town, we'd make a commitment to start travelling the surrounding areas to take advantage of all the incredible places that are at our fingertips!
So, after church on Sunday morning, we drove to Little Talbot Island State Park with Jenny and the kids! It was gooooooorgeous and I'd highly recommend that everyone try and make it out there. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend more than a couple of hours due to the ugly clouds (see below pic), but we got to swim near about 10 dolphins, ride the waves and play on the beach for a while. We'll definitely be going back!

Beautiful! Glad you have such wonderful places to visit and that they're nearby!
Gorgeous! We need to do some more exploring of our home state, too. I'll be taking notes!
We just came back from Perdidio Key and it was AWESOME there! But there was still some oil! I love FL and can't wait to explore more when the boys get older, we maybe be headed to your neck o' the woods next summer! We grew up vacationing in Amelia Island and St. Augustine.
