Well - May 1st is my 26th birthday...wow, did I really just admit that?!?! Ok, so now the cats out of the bag! Dennis and Linda babysat Shep and Rauly last night and today so that Chad and I could have time to ourselves. Last night we went to see the movie Next with Nicholas Cage...it was pretty good! This was the first morning I have slept past 6:45 in a VERY long time! It was Heaven! Chad got us tickets to the Alhambra Dinner Theatre and we got to see the performance of Grease today- SO FUN!!! We had a delicious lunch and then got to see a really great performance of one of my all-time favorite movies! After eating lunch we had to wait about 90 minutes for the show to start...this was a little too long for two people who are used to chasing after kids every minute of every day - we really didn't know what to do with ourselves so we wound up walking around outside just goofing off. :) Thanks Dennis and Linda for keeping the kiddo's and thanks to Chad for a wonderful early b-day weekend!!

YOu two looked like you were back in college. I am glad you had such a relaxing time and sorry I didn't inquire more when we were on the phone. After we got off I thought, I didn't even ask what they were doing. Sorry, loss of brain cells...I love Grease too. I am proud of Chad for doing that for you and watching too.
Ok, I need to go. Love ya! OH yeah, Happy early Birthday!

I cracked up when you said you guys got a little bored b/c you had time on your hands that you're not accustomed to! Boredom probably never sounded so appealing as now! Right?! :) I'm thankful Linda and Dennis kept the kiddos for you so you could have some very needed alone time just having fun and being together! I'll call you tomorrow on your real b'day. Love, Mom

Well, Chad must've talked to Shepherd before I got up this morning because when I woke up and walked in to the living room, Shep was sitting there waiting patiently for me and immediately he jumped up and said "Happy B-day mommy!!!". There were flowers and a card on the table and he quickly grabbed my hand to show me my sweet early morning gift. Wow - I was a bit stunned by my 3 year olds words but it literally made my day!!!! Thx for the b-day wishes girls!

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Lindsey, Happy birthday to you ... this song is to be sung to the tune of "Mary had a Little Lamb". It sounds more genuine that way. Have a good one! - p.s. - you're just a year older than me :)
