We made it back from Callaway Gardens! It was a wonderful, festive trip! Shepherd and Rauly sat in Santa's lap just hours before he made his visit down our chimney, ate the cookies Shepherd had decorated for him and we were pleasantly surprised to find that he had left everyone in the family tons of presents!! We got to ride the trolley through the festival of lights, walk through the butterfly conservatory and eat the most wonderful food! We also had the honor of Chad's granny on this trip - what a treat! It was so special to hear her reminisce about her childhood and have her spend quality time with Shep and Rauly! We had real wood fires and Christmas night a cold front came through which made it feel even more festive as we watched a nativity light show outside. Like I said - it was a great trip and I can't wait to go back!
