All we want for Christmas is a healthy baby girl!

As you can see from the pics below, Lillie Anna is still sick. :-( But that's not what I want to focus on...our lil' sweet pea is on meds that should have her better by Christmas. What'd I'd like to focus on instead, is how incredibly proud I am of Shepherd and Rauly!

One of the blessings of having multiple children, is that the older children learn to put their siblings needs ahead of their own. There's not much sweeter then a child whose heart is bent towards kindness and patience...and having a toddler around (especially a SICK toddler) is a sure-fire way for a child to practice those fruits of the spirit! Over the past five weeks, Shep and Rauly have jumped at every opportunity to help me. Shep especially has a servant's heart - he's just naturally inclined to offer to help me clean, or grab wet wipes, or entertain Lillie if she's fussy. Rauly has different gifts then her brother. She's more inclined to nurture and love on Lillie...Shep is the entertainer, while Rauly is the comforter. And Rauly has been rewarded all day today by Lillie Anna wanting to lie in her lap and put her head on Rauly's shoulder.

The past five weeks would've been much more challenging if I hadn't had Shep and Rauly around to help ease my load - they've been such a blessing this month, both to me AND their baby sister. I'm so thankful for the gifts God gave each of them!

What sweet adorable pics. You should make a calendar with 12 different pics showing their love and care for each other with a fitting scripture below on the Godly characteristics they each exemplify. Love the fact that they are helping you and Lillie Anna and doing it with caring hearts and lots of love!

Aw, poor baby girl! Praying she feels better very soon. The picture of Rauly snuggling her is just priceless. You are so blessed! Merry Christmas!
