We spent New Years Day preparing for out of town guests who arrived that afternoon. Chris, Bree, McGuire and Keeley were friends of ours from Fleming Island who moved away to North Carolina about 18 months ago. Rauly and McGuire became buddies at the Lil' Gym when they were around 18 months, and the parents followed suit. :) We have gone surfing with them, had cook-outs and even been on the news together - haha! They're such a fun family and we've missed them - so we were thrilled they came and spent the night with us! It was a great way to begin the New Year!

And this is our newest addition. :) Actually, truth be told, Chase is our "first born". Chad and I found him in Searcy's country club when he was just a pup and after trying to find his owners for several months, we finally adopted him as our own. He has been THE BEST DOG a person could ever dream of! He's the sweetest natured dog - perfect with children! He's smart and obedient, clean and calm...seriously, wish my kids were as well behaved and easy as he is! lol! This is a pic of the two of us cuddlin' on the floor last night. Dennis and Linda were his foster parents (haha) for the first two years that we lived here, but now that our back yard is complete, he's back where he belongs with us.
