Rauly, it is hard to believe two years have gone by! The 9 month pregnancy, the colicky months, learning to eat, walk, run...learning to talk, developing a sense of humor, your first prayer (although it was gibberish to us, I believe God was able to interpret it!),...I could go on and on about all the many firsts and experiences we've watched you have! What a true blessing you are and we are so thankful God gave you to our family to raise!! You complete me in a way I never even knew I needed....a daughter....a little girl to teach how to be a lady some day. It warms my heart when you show interest in girly-things that only you and I can do together...like make-up, blow-dryers, jewelry and nail-polish...but more so, it fills me with joy to see you already expressing the soft gentle nature that God gave you. You have such a wonderful balance of strong-will and tenderness and your daddy and I believe you will make a wonderful leader one day! You are truly the perfect mixture of your daddy and I (and I think I should include your Aunt Jenny in that as well!). You have your daddy's blue eyes, blonde hair and face shape,...you have your Aunt Jenny's gentle and determined ways, and you have my chin and long legs! :) Can you see the pride beaming off of your families faces when they look at you? You, my darling girl, are loved in the truest sense! Rauly-girl...Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

What a cutie! Love the pics! Wish we could have spent it with ya'll. You described Rauly so well in your letter to her which is an awesome keepsake for her. She's just precious! My Little Pony has been around for so long...even when you were little you loved playing with them. Isn't it something that Jennifer Baber's two kids and Rauly have the same b'day - Nov. 30! Wish you all could have been with Papa, Dee, Nannie, Callie, Jacob, Craig, Denise and I in Shreveport these last few days. It was great to see everyone! Love you!

Lindsey, Yes - I took the pictures myself...we just altered the colors a little on our computer. Glad you liked them!
Lindsey - those pictures are awesome! I thought you had them professionally done! I'll have to find out from you how to do the coloring. Is it a special program? By the way Rauly is adorable! You have such a cute family!

I used Microsoft Digital Image (which was already on our computer)...it was VERY easy to use and really fun to play around with - I Was amazed at how many things you could do with that program! Any alterations that were made (like your question Hannah) were done with this program!
I love your letter idea - that will be so special for your kids to look back on! Rauly sure seems like one special little girl & is so blessed to have such loving parents who are trying to bring her up in the Lord!
Are you ready for another coincidense (sp?)? Avery's aunt and Reagan's parents took her to Build a Bear also for her b-day! Really crazy! Those pictures are so cute! What a big girl!

I totally forgot to leave this comment a while back when I read this, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY (belated) to your sweet, beautiful little girl!! These pictures are absolutely gorgeous!!! She's looking so grown up! That was such a sweet post, too. Also, (I'm such a bad commenter these days) I wanted to comment that your elf email had me laughing out loud. That is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while!
