One word would describe the weather outside....miserable! It is sooooo hot outside...we are avoiding the outdoors at all costs. Which means my kids (and myself) are bored out of our minds by the time 3pm rolls around. My Art Box has become our new fave item...it holds play-dough, crayons, ect. Whelp, that wasn't enough today to keep the kids interest, so I decided to break out the old halloween costumes - they LOVED that! They looked pretty ridiculous...Rauly's dress was actually put on backwards and Shep's Winnie the Pooh costume is about 2 sizes too small...but they didn't seem to care at all! :)

Lindsey, I've had some catching up to do on your blog. Things sound wonderfully busy in your neck of the woods. Sorry about the heat, we just got a break from it...the cooler weather makes me want to get out my fall decorations. Wish I could send you this cooler weather!

You are such a fun Mommy. Wish our kids could play together. My mother-in-law just left after being here for two weeks, and my aunt is coming for her fall break the first week of October. After that I fly home for my 10 year reunion. After that, we definitely need to arrange a play date! We can meet for a fun day in Orlando... I have some ideas!

The kids look so cute in their costumes! You're a smart mom who knows how to improvise when needed (like when it's too hot to play outside)! Also, major props to Chad for coming home AND bringing flowers. I wonder if guys realize how much things like that mean to us girls? I hope you have a great week!

Costumes are a good idea! Rainy days are boring here, too. Sometimes I just let my kids go outside and run around in it (if there's no lightning). They get messy, but it's worth it for them to be entertained for awhile!

These pictures are too cute! I think the Winnie the Pooh costume is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! Looks like you may have a future college mascot on your hands =).

Hey Linds, thanks for your comment and thanks for reading it. I know you know all of that about Melissa and John. Thanks for being there too. I didn't want to go into everything that everyone helped with or it would have been a novel! Just know that you are appreciated and I'm glad you live so close to them. Love ya too,
-TL
