Another week has flown by!

I can't believe it's almost Friday - craziness! Monday afternoon, one of Shep's best frends, Harrision, came over to play! Shep wound up not getting a nap and after preschool and playing hard all afternoon with Harrison, he wound up falling asleep on the couch at 6:30pm!!! Chad carried him to bed and he was out till 7am Tuesday morning!!

Tuesday marked the last day of CBS Training and today was the official beginning for the study of John - it was really exciting to see so many woman today...many of them we knew were coming, many hadn't registered but just came because they had heard of it which was awesome!! I worked with the children and will continue to do so over the next year - we had a great time learning about God and I think Shep and Rauly enjoyed me being one of their teachers. :)

Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, Chad and I worked on flooring the attic and moving our tubs up in to it...that was a job and thank God I am married to a man who is a work-horse...we had NO attic when we started...he actually cut a hole in the ceiling, installed the drop-down staircase, and then carried the plywood up in to the area above our garage and created a floor...he even installed a light up there! He got our garage looking so organized and I'm SO thankful to him for that!

Wednesday night, we had Mrs.Buckler and her family over for dinner - Shep LOVED having his preschool teacher in our home and especially enjoyed playing with her son and daughter! My mind is completely set at ease after getting to know her and her husband better...I feel confident that Shep is where he needs to be!
Shep and Rauly watching Charlottes Web while they patiently wait for the Bucklers to arrive....

A few fall decorations we've put up...

Shep and Mrs. Buckler...

Tonight, I was invited to our preacher's wifes home (Lanaya...she's the tiny one on the front right) for a "girls night out"! I rode with a friend of mine who lives right down the road (Tara...the long haired brunette on the far right) and we had such a good time! Lanaya has 3 children, Tara has 5 children, Jodie has 4 children...the list goes on!...and I know we all needed a night of just laughter and fun! We're all so focused throughout the day on taking care of our families, our friends, our jobs, and our duties that it was a relief for all of us to just let our guards down and not worry about responsibilities!

Great pics as usual. Makes me feel like I'm a part of it (your life there, that is). Shep and Rauly always look like they are enjoying life so much! I always loved it when you guys were little and fell asleep from exhaustion from having such a good time! Glad Ms. Buckler and family got to know you guys better too. Looks like Shep is in good hands. It was so good of you guys to have them over! Hospitality is a such a blessing to both parties. Glad you were able to get out with the girlies and hang loose and laugh a lot! They look like a fun group!

Every time I read your blog posts, I have to repeat to myself, "be happy for Linds, not jealous, be happy for Linds, not jealous..." In my immaturity, the first thing I always think when I read about your amazing array of friendships and activities is, "Hey! No fair! I want that!!!" You are so truly blessed to have so many family-oriented moms around you! I love it that you're journaling... it reads like one big blessing!

Hey Hannah - I have been reading a lot of books (The Treasure Principle and The Blessed Life) lately that have reminded me just how blessed I really am - even when I don't feel like it at times! Trust me, our life is so far from perfect and I don't always blog about my frustrating moments throughout the day. It's funny that you said that though because I do the same thing with your blog - I guess the grass is always greener on the other side! :)

Good pictures! I love the blue color of your dinning room. You are so good about blogging. I hardly ever write on ours, it is usually Nathan, and I am not half as busy as your are! Have a great week, see you soon. Linz
