Hey everyone,...sorry I haven't posted for a few days. Our computer crashed last weekend - luckily it was a minor crash and we didn't lose anything. When Chad told me last Sunday morning that the computer had crashed and he wasn't sure if we had lost everything, all I could think about was Suzanne's post about how their computer had crashed a few months back and she had encouraged everyone to back up their hard drive...I have thought about her post many times and just haven't taken the time to act on her advice. EVERYTHING is on our computer...all of Shepherd and Rauly's baby pics...Chad and my honeymoon pictures, 3 major online scrapbooks as well as all of Chad's business files. We were ready to hug and kiss the Geek Squad at Best Buy when they told us that we still had ALL of our information....and they backed it all up for us on a disk just in case it ever happens again. SO - we should get our computer back tonight, and hopefully by tomorrow, I'll be able to upload some pics. (I'm posting right now on our laptop.) Hope everyone is doing good and hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!! NOW - Go back up your hard drives!!!!

I've heard of a bunch of people lately losing pictures that they had stored on their computer and I have some advice: upload your pictures to a web-based program like shutterfly.com or snapfish.com. This ensures that whatever happens to your computer or server or house ... you ALWAYS have your pictures ... access to them and also an easy way to have them reprinted. Hope this helps all of you out there!
That is so funny you said that! Just this past week end, Justin backed up my entire laptop on an external hard drive. I thought about Suzanne, too. I'm so glad that the Geek Squad was able to revive your computer. Sounds like there was a lot of sintemental stuff on there!

Thanks for the advice...I'm currently uploading ALL of my pics to walmart.com because our laptop is so old that it will not even burn a CD now. I could not imagine losing all of Austin's pics!
