**Warning - Warning - This is a VERY sentimental and sappy note to my hubby...if you don't want to read it, then just skip to my previous post about what me and the kiddo's have been doing for the past few days. You've been warned!!! **

Happy 5 year anniversary Chad!!!

I remember the day that I first heard your name. I was on my way to Heber Springs with a group of friends and a guy asked me if I would wear Chad Eason's football jersey to one of the HU football games. I remember telling him "no way!....I'm not wearing a guys jersey that I've never even seen before!". I remember going to the football game that weekend and all these guys were wearing shirts that said "E-A-S-O-N" and they were all asking me why the heck I wasn't wearing Chad's shirt! I just rolled my eyes and laughed it off.

2 weeks later....
I remember the day I met you for the very first time. I was in the cafeteria and saw the guy I was dating sitting across the way. I walked over to say "hey!" to him and he introduced me to his roommate...that poor guy had no clue what he was doing because his roommate was you!! :) I remember what you were wearing, the way you were sitting, and the confident way in which you spoke to me. What I remember most though was your smile and the way your smile lit up your eyes. Just writing about this makes me grin. ( I also remember kicking myself for not wearing your jersey when I was asked to do so a few weeks prior!!)

From that moment in the caf, I knew. I just knew. You were a bit slower than me however, so I patiently waited for your lightbulb to go off! :) We had a few minor hurdles to overcome...like the fact that I was a Kojie and you were a JuGoJu beau - haha!! Or the fact that you were the captain of the f-ball team and I knew nothing about that sport (thx to Carrie Dutile, Amanda Beller and Melanie Polk for helping me in this department!!). :) Ok, so these weren't hurdles at all but just things that it made it more interesting to get to know you! It was so much fun to get to know you as a friend before we ever became anything more. I have so many great memories of group get-togethers, club events, football games, and road trips! I prayed for you, I waited for you and now I can thank God for answering my prayers for a christian husband! You bless my life in so many ways and I am proud to say you chose me to be your wife. So...3 states, 3 mortages, and 2 kids later...Thank you for 5 wonderful years of marriage! I look forward to many more anniversary celebrations and I cannot wait to see what the next 5 years have in store for us!!

Congrats on 5 Years to both of you! I read it and it was very sweet ... I'll forgive Chad for "going Kojie" because he picked such a good one, or as it sounded it this, a good one picked him :)

Linds, reading your post brought back so many memories from HU...you, Liz and me talking at night about how cute you thought Chad was, and then once you were dating, how much you loved him. (I would guess Payton heard many of the same things from Chad about you) :)You two really are perfect together. Congratulations on 5 years of marriage.

Like I needed anything else to make me cry. That was so great and I am so happy for you and Chad. You truly have a wonderful family and I am so glad we get to share that with you often. I love you both.

It encourages my heart to hear how perfect you guys are for each other and makes it just a wee bit easier to be okay with you guys living soooo very far away! I know you are both in God's hands and that brings major comfort and peace. Congrats on 5 exciting and very adventurous years together and raising those wonderful grandbabies who I miss so very much! Love you both! Mom

Happy aniversary!! You guys make such a cute couple. I forgot that Chad was a Ju Go Ju beau! That's funny! I remember going to find him the night he got voted as our beau. Wow, that was a long time ago. :) I'm sorry I didn't get to post earlier about you going back to teaching. Whatever you do, know that God will take care of you. I know it's hard to leave your babies (trust me, I know!!). But being a teacher is the next best thing to staying home because you get so much time off with them. I think if I had any other job, I wouldn't be able to do it. However, being a teacher is awesome because it gives you lots of time off. I'm thinking about you and praying that whatever you decide to do will be what's best. Love you, Shauri
