We took a trip to St.Augustine today after visiting Mandarin Christian Church. We met Jenny for lunch at Barnacle Bills and decided it was the perfect day for the beach. SO - we headed to Target to buy some bathing suits and sun-screen for the kids and off we went...windows rolled down, veggie tales praise songs blarin',...it was such a great day!! Shepherd has grown to love the beach due to living in Savannah for a year and making regular trips to Tybee Island - when he saw the sand and the ocean he was jumpin' for joy! The first thing he did was find sea shells, and than he grabbed Aunt Jenny's hand to go jump the waves. Rauly very intently walked the beach...she needed to walk, stomp, touch and feel every piece of the area she was in before she could relax and play in the sand. :) We had a great time!!
This video is of Rauly walking earlier this evening - she's growin' up so fast!! I'm sorry if there's no sound...I couldn't hear anything on my computer. This is my first time to post a video so hope it works for ya'll!!

Hooray! Rauly walked! And she did a great job, I might add. You better watch her now b/c she can get where she wants to go faster! How fun! Thanks for filming it so we could share! The earrings are darling too. Just a pretty girl. Shep looks like he was absolutely enjoying the beach! How far are you guys from the actual beach?
Melissa - We would have loved for you guys to have been there. It was a very last minute decision otherwise we definitely would have given you guys a call!!

Mom - We live about 20 minutes from the Jax beach and about 40 minutes from St.Augustine. Oh - and as for Rauly walking and getting in to everything - she's learned how to climb stairs. Linda and Dennis have stairs and she's constantly trying to climb them...guess it's good practice for our condo. :)
Hey Lindsey...the beach looked wonderful! I'm going to try to tell you how to post your celebrity thing... take the text in the box (shown when you finish the celebrity thing). copy it (ctrl + A) and ctrl + C). The open your new post in blogger. click the edit HTML tab at the top right of the box. Paste into the box (ctrl + V). Then you just publish post and it should work. Can't wait to see if my instructions worked!
