Today, me, Shep and Rauly all travelled to Valdosta,GA to see our best friends Melissa and Kayden Hicks! John (Melissa's hubby) was in Savannah,GA with Chad and Chad's dad (Dennis), helping us replace our roof to the house we're selling. John is SUCH A good friend - he took his off days and decided to spend them camping out at our house (we have no electricity or bedding!), and he spent the ENTIRE day on top of our house tearing off shingles and laying felt down. I talked to Chad tonight and the three of them were all exhausted...unfortunately they still have more work to do tomorrow but I think the worst of it is done. I really wish Melissa and I could have gotten pics of them working, but instead, I got pictures of our beautiful children playing together this afternoon! Melissa got Rauly and Kayden matching sweaters a while back - too cute!! She found out she's pregnant a few weeks ago which we are THRILLED about!! Her and John called one night last week around 10pm and I just about woke up the entire house screaming - I was so happy for them!! Congratulations Melissa - you're a wonderful mommy and I know you'll do great the second time around!!

I love the girly pictures! Aren't you glad you have a husband who is handy? I know I am! There's not too much Justin can't do around the house or car. :)

I agree with you Lindsey, I think Melissa is going to have a boy...I would be happy about either but it would be neat to have a boy since our family hasn't had one. The pics were great...I wish I could've been there too!

Life looks so grand! Cute kids that love each other, best friends having fun, best friends helping each other, sharing the good and the bad...being in the shadow of God's wings! It's great to view your lives so closely from so far away! Love, Mom
