Rauly got her ears pierced today!!! I think it was harder on her daddy than it was on her. :( Chad choked back tears - breathed out real hard a few times to fight the knot in his throat and blinked a few times...finally he had to wipe his eyes. He loves his baby girl and it was very hard for him to see her in pain. Not that it was easy for me, but I've always pictured having a baby girl with earrings so it was always something I accepted would be done at a very young age....Chad wasn't so sure about it but obviousely he went along. We're both so glad we did it - she got 14 carot gold, diamond daisies - and they are just too cute!! She only cried for a minute and than she popped her thumb in her mouth and was back to her normal happy self.

Oh! And the blonde curls you see are new - she has a few little ringlets in the back which we are in love with!! I never thought I'd have a daughter with any kind of curl...my hair is straight as a board - but I absolutely love her little flip-ups in the back!! :) And yes, she is in a tank top - it's in the low 80's, upper 70's here in Jax - whew...definitely not typical January weather!!!

I can't wait to get Ava's ears pierced! They look so precious! I want to do Ava's even earlier! I don't know if I can do it or not. Anytime Jace has to have his shots, his Papa Ron takes him. That's terrible isn't it? I can't stand it when he's hurting. So, we'll see if I can handle getting Ava's ears pierced at 3 months! :) Rauly is so beautiful! I love her big blue eyes and her little curls! Good to hear that you're settled. Love ya, Shauri

Look at those curls! She is such a tough girl for doing so good with her ear piercing! She truly is BEAUTIFUL!

The earrings look so cute. I have been debating on whether or not to do my girls' ears. They are 2 now, so it would be nice if I could get them done and they wouldn't remember it. It is kind of traumatic.

I think I'll write a blog post about this! Thanks for the idea!

My little sweetie pie is such a living doll! Love the blonde curls too! I'm glad the trauma was but a split minute! Earrings are fun to buy as gifts too! Can't wait to see you guys again! Love, Mom
