Bad, bad blogger!!!

I'm sorry...really, I am! I'm in one of the most challenging (if not THE most challenging) phase I've ever been in. My life is literally revolving around my job, my children and our new house. I'm working about 40 hours a week, and than I am coming home to a house that has endless of hours of work that needs to be done...anywhere from painting and hanging doors, cutting down and burning trees on our 1/2 acre lot, hanging frames, painting walls, organizing EVERYTHING,...everywhere I look I see things that need to be done - yeah...it isn't all that fun to come home to. Having said that - we are LOVING our new house and feel so comfortable here - I have a feeling we'll be here for many years! It's just taking FOREVER to accomplish anything because of Shep and Rauly. When school gets out at 2pm, they are exhausted and in need of me...and quite frankly, I'm in need of them! I miss them all day (yes they are in the same building with me and I see them off and on all day),...it just isn't the same as having them all to myself! SO, instead of cleaning, painting or organizing in the afternoons, I wind up rocking Rauly or cuddling with Shep - food for the soul! :)

Chad and I decided the other night that we're going to travel to Arkansas for Thanksgiving...my brother Jacob will be there too. I'm giddy with excitement...I miss home so much - we'll only be there for 4 days, but I told Chad I'd make the trip even if it was for just a day! Anyways, I'll post more pics soon, I promise!!!

This is what my mom has always told me: the house work will keep; but your children are only this age once, enjoy the time with them.

I so look forward to after dinner Austin and I go to his room to cuddle and watch a "mobie". I look forward to that everyday, and I forget about the dishes. Sometimes Adam even does them.

But... enjoy your kids, they need you as much as you need them!

If you can manage to juggle it all now..and still spend quality time with your 2 blessings..before you know it..sadly they won't need you as much and things will change and you will be glad you have a job to keep you busy. Hang in there and keep praying for energy and wisdom. God will supply all your needs..God Bless your beautiful family.

Can't believe that with all that's on your plate, you still seem relatively sane! :0) (there are varying degrees of sanity, you know...)
It was WONDERFUL seeing you at our girls' night! Can't wait for the next one!
