Meet Stanley!

Stanley came to visit us all the way from the Fayettville,AR area and will be staying with us for a few weeks. Shepherd and Rauly's cousin, Whitney, has a class project involving Stanley travelling the world and we look forward to introducing her little friend to our "neck of the woods"! We plan to take Stanley to Silver Springs,Fl today....St.Augustine,FL next week....and I'm sure he'll pay a visit to the local library and some other really neat places too! We just wanted to make sure Whitney knew her friend had arrived safe and sound and that we'll take good care of him while he's here! :)

I heard of some of the schools here doing the "Stanley" thing. I didn't get all of the details, but it sounds like fun! Now be sure to complete a photo essay for us! ;-)

It is so good to see a picture of him smiling. What a sweetie, I hope he enjoys Stanley.

It's a good thing Stanley was sent to Shep and not to Wesley... he'd be drowned in the toilet or buried in the sandbox by now if the Rogers family was taking care of the little Stan man!

I want you to know that Shepherd has been in our prayers. I am so glad to see him in this pic. I love the smile. I can't imagine what he has been through.
You go boy!

Thanks for leaving me a comment! I put a Jax weather thing on my blog page to remind myself how beautiful the weather is going to be! 87 today! Unbelievable! I am ready for some sunny warm weather! I have very confused emotions right now. I am excited for the move but sad for the leaving part. So weird! Maybe we can hitch rides to LR together :) That would be great fun with 4 little ones!!UGGGHHH! I seriously want to talk to you about how you deal with not seeing your family much. Anyway, I am looking forward to someday seeing you in person! Greg's in Jax this week and was also there last week. He is visiting the San Jose C of C tonight. Where do you guys go? It seems we will be driving a bit to get to any church! We are looking in the Julington Creek area because it's closer to G's work. Several people have told us that the biggest thing to consider about Orange Park is the traffic on "the bridge" for Greg's commute...Hmm...By the way, where is Melissa moving to?

Jamie, I could post plenty about DCF Laws, Rules and Regulations...I could also post lots about organization and spring cleaning (or at least attempts at it!)....something tells me that nobody wants to hear a lick of either! ;) I'll try to do better soon about blogging more!

Melody, I'd love to meet up with you and Jamie...maybe we could do that Library park soon!
