HAPPY VALENTINE'S 2008!!!
I think this Valentine's Day is even colder than last years Valentine's Day was! As we headed out the door this morning to go to CBS, we immediately had to back-pedal and run back inside for jackets and long sleeve shirts - brrr rabbit! Other than the cold weather though, it has been a beautiful day with blue skies and not a cloud in sight! Shep is all "valentined" out having gone to two v-day parties yesterday and today, and Rauly has had a blast playing with her new "My lil' ponies" from her Valentine - daddy! :) Chad and I celebrated this past weekend - Chad actually completely surprised me by planning a WONDERFUL evening in an area of town called Avondale. Avondale is known in the US as being one of the best cities to retire - it's very quaint, right on the river and has a beautiful historic district!! Anyways, he called me around 4pm and instructed me to pack things for the kids and asked me to dress up a lil'...it was so fun to be left in suspense. His parents wound up keeping them Saturday AND Sunday (THANK YOU LINDA AND DENNIS) and Chad and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Biscotti's as well as our quiet coffee time Sunday morning before church...we had completely forgotten how much easier it is to get ready in the mornings when there are no kids around! :) Shep, Rauly and I gave Chad a greens fee at the Fleming Island Golf Course - we'll let him and Jeff (the friend he'll be golfing with) choose when they'll go. And yes....I realize that isn't a very "romantic" gift, but if you know Chad, you know he isn't all that romantic of a guy and I knew this would truly be a gift he would not only enjoy but would USE! :) When I got back from CBS today, Chad had a dozen roses waiting for me along with a beautiful card and a wonderful gift card to Panache for an hour long massage and manicure and he scheduled it for tomorrow - YIPEEE!!! Overall, this has been a Valentine's week to remember!

Awwwwww..........! Your valentines are too cute! Happy (late) V-Day to a woman worthy of much love!
You can't beat those Valentines! They sure are precious!! BTW-Love the song playing on your blog. Reminds me of college days! Except we always change the words to blue eyed girl for obvious reasons!
I love your Valentines! What a sweet family! Chad did awesome on your gifts!
Wow. Sounds like you are getting spoiled. Way to go Chad!
The kids are so cute. I can't believe how big they're getting. Sounds like you did have a great Valentine's. You guys both did great!
How jealous of your spontaneous weekends away AM I?! much. Oh to have family live close by! Michael and I haven't had a night alone with no kids since we became parents. Don't see one on the horizon, either. When fam is in town or visa versa, we want to spend it with them. Plus, I think I'm gonna fall somewhere on the pregnant/nursing sprectrum for about a solid decade!
Your sweeties are so precious! About the Orlando play date... I can do a Saturday, but probably not until April. Michael is getting ready to go out of the country for business and me and the kids are headed to Kentucky. E-mail me and we'll talk!
