We decided to brave the cold this morning....we headed over to the Fleming Island Library where there is a really nice park that has enough features for both kids to play their hearts out. So often, it seems that parks are designed for older children, but this one has plenty for Rauly to do as well so they can both play without getting frustrated! It was really chilly but we still had a great time - there were even people out flying kites (they were crazy if you ask me) but it was fun to watch! :) Unfortunately, the library was closed today....Rauly pitched a grand ole' fit right outside the doors as she stared pitifully inside pleading for somebody to open the doors so she could go check out some library books. I'm really thankful that both my children love to read so much - I personally could read all day (if I had the time - which I don't), and it makes me proud to know that Shep is already trying to read short words and that they both have such an interest in the library!

So glad that you had dun! We braved the weather here too and the kids had a blast. We didn't stay too long, but it gave them enough time to run around and get out their pent up energy from yesterday!

OK- that was supposed to say fun! :) And my spell check didn't catch it!

I am guessing I would give my left arm for weather that you have right now- it was 4 degrees when we woke up Sat. morning and on top of that windy! Braden loves parks too, but we won't be going any time soon. Looks like they had fun- we are jealous!

Marie...I had just woken up from a nap when I read your comment and seriousely sat there for a good 20 seconds trying to figure out what the word "dun" meant....I finally moved on to your next comment and then cracked up!

Angela...you are probably right about the fact that you'd give your right arm for our weather - it's been in the upper 40's which for us is extremely frigid but compared to your 4 degree weather - that'd be like a heat wave, eh?!

You are braver than I am. It's been in the 40s here but the windchill has made it feel even cooler. I'm glad y'all could get out and play so your kids could be as loud as they want to be and not annoy your rude neighbors!

The kids looked like they were having a blast (winter blast-ha!).
Glad you guys were able to get out and get some pent up energy expended!!! They both are so fun to watch in the pics. Let me know how Shep's ear is doing.
