Ya' know the song "Coo-coo" from the Sound of Music? Well...you could sing that as you look at this picture and it would accurately describe my life right now. :) (And no, my friend Tara is NOT flipping me off in this picture...it's her pointer finger!!!) I can't WAIT for our trip to Arkansas and Missouri...just 3 more weeks! Chad, me and the kids are going to Homecoming at the university we attended (Harding) and are spending a week in Branson at the Big Cedar Lodge- Silver Dollar City will be opening for their Christmas season that week so I'm so excited about getting to experience the cold weather and get in to the spirit of the holidays! Chad and I really could use a break and I can't wait to be locked in the van with him for a full day so we can talk...he is working non-stop right now and I miss him! Needless to say, we are both looking forward to this vacation!

I've not been back to Harding since 2002... the year after I graduated. Sad! But when you marry someone that didn't go to Harding, it's a tad difficult to convince him that Searcy is an exciting vacation destination! Will you take lots of pictures and post them on your blog???

Here's to hoping you and Chad have a GREAT vacation (and maybe come back with a little souvenir!).

fun fun!!!! brian and i stayed at big cedar a few months before ethan was born, and we loved it....it was beautiful there even in march, so i can only imagine how spectacular it will be in the fall!!! have you been there before? there is so much fun stuff to do, but most of it was not conducive for a 6 mo. pregnant momma to enjoy! however, i still enjoyed relaxing and the nightly visits of the cookie ladies! have a great time.

Sara Jo - we will definitely be looking for ya'll at HU!! Can't wait to visit with you both!

Hannah - I didn't realize Michael didn't go to Harding...I need to hear the story of how ya'll met!

Emily - my mom and stepdad have a timeshare there. We (Chad and I) went there with them last year around the same time of year and it was gorgeous...the leaves were changing, the weather was cold and it was so fun to be spoiled while we were there! There's something about the "cookie lady", the wonderful restaraunts, the Table Rock Lake and the room service that makes you feel like you've stepped in to the lap of luxury! It's funny because the only reason Chad was in Heaven was due to the constant flow of gourmet coffee in the clubhouse - he's very easy to please! :)

I would love to go back for Homecoming this year. I'm even off work that weekend, however it is also my hubby's 30th birthday (the 4th), and I'm having a surprise shin-dig for him, so maybe next year! Hope y'all have fun, and bring back pics! I, too, haven't been back to HU since 2002 when I stayed with Kristy and Payton!
