Visions of Clean Clothes dance in my head....

Chad and I bought a stackable washer/dryer today (yes, I realize the pic isn't of a stackable set...it's the best I could find on google images!) - this will open up more space in our laundry room for a pantry....oh the joys of living in a 1200 square foot condominium! (Sarcasm is in full force here.) Honestly, we LOVE our condo and the area our condo is in and our goal is to live here for four more years (gulp). We CAN do it! We are just going to have to start getting VERY organized. SO...the stackable washer/dryer is the first project (thank you Katie and Jamie for the motivation to start my home projects!) and next comes the pantry that Chad will install. After that, we will install shelving all around the upper portion of the kiddo's room for picture frames. I'm going to have all of their framed pictures blown up to 8x10's in black and white and put them on this shelf so that the pics will be out of their reach but still able to be seen. After this project will come the hard wood floors...our carpet has seen better days...I have steamed it over and over and over and over...well, you get the picture - it's un-salvagable! SO - those are just a handful of the projects that we need to get rollin' with...after Christmas For Kids is finished, I plan on having more time to focus on them!

Do you have any attic/storage space? Mine is WAY overloaded (and continues every couple of months as we pack away Adalie's outgrown clothes/toys. I was wondering if you have any tips on creating room there?

Hey Kim - we do have an attic (which we floored a few months ago) and our tip is to use Tubs (the kind you can stack)....the more efficient you can be with the boxes you're packing in, the more space you'll be able to conserve. We too have boxes and boxes of Shep and Rauly's old clothes and toys, so I can totally relate to feeling like you're drowning in un-used baby stuff!

I have a solution for the clutter in your attic and an exciting new project for you and Chad to consider: Baby #3!

Horray for more space. Landon and Sheperd are so close in age. Landon's b-day is 4/24/04. I had no idea you were pregnant when I was at Harding. I had go through my senior year pregnant and then little landon decided to come two months early...so finishing and graduating were a challenge! No we won't be at homecoming, but if we were I would love to see your sweet family.

Hannah - you crack me up!

Laura - I remember when your baby was born so premature and am so glad that he's such a healthy little boy today- I didn't realize Shep and Landon's b-day's were so close either! Too bad you guys won't be at homecoming...we'd love to see you guys too!!

Wow, you do have a lot of projects in the works! Your stackable washer/dryer should definitely give you some more space :)
I can relate to having to fit a lot of stuff into a small house--we're totally in the same boat! It's funny, when we moved into a 3 bedroom 2 bath house, I wondered how we would ever have enough stuff to fill it up, and now we're busting at the seams! Having a child (and having all the stuff that comes along with having a child) fills a house up very quickly!
