These are just some random pics from the past few days...it's been busy but fun!

And he sleeps.... Chad is one of the hardest workers I know! He works from the moment he gets up till the moment he crashes in our bed (or on our couch!). I'm so thankful for his hard work!

Pics from our movie night - hip hip hooray for Tom and Jerry!! :) Chad works evenings a lot, so, we (meaning me and the kids) got in our comfy p.j.'s, popped some popcorn and watched our movie while we waited for daddy to get home. It was fun to cuddle on the couch with the kids and watch one of their kid shows...I never do that but plan on doing it more often now! :)

Pics from Shepherd's pumpkin patch party at the Sharing Tree Preschool. Siblings were allowed to participate so Rauly got to join in on the fun! They had a professional photographer come and take pics of the kids sitting on a bale of hay with scarecrows and pumpkins so once those are developed, I'll show them on the blog.

Rauly and her friend Sammy...Sammy's older brother Jackson is one of Shep's best friends at school. I couldn't for the life of me get Rauly to look at the camera, soooo, sorry every pic is of her "behind". :)

This evening, Jenny (my sis-in-law) showed up at our home driving a 2008 lifted Chevy Silverado with the "No Fear" package....Chad just about did a back flip when he heard the motor rumblin' outside our door!! lol!! Jenny is in charge of the highschool homecoming (sort-of) and was chosen to drive the parade vehicle tomorrow - for some crazy reason, the dealership gave her a jacked up chevy to drive instead of the typical convertible and she knew Chad would get a kick out of driving around in it! So, thanks Jenny - it was fun to cruise around town looking like a red-neck! :)

And last but certainely not least - Dennis and Linda videotaped Shepherd saying the Pledge of Allegiance the other night. He hears it 5 days a week so I'm glad he's memorized it - they do it every day at his preschool and then every day at Community Bible Study...now we just need to learn the Pledge of Allegiance to the Bible and to the Christian Flag!!

I didn't really know what you were talking about (maybe I'm not very bright). I got your facebook message ... why in the world were you up at that hour? and yes I was asleep :) Homecoming will be here so fast ... these busy days are flying by!

Warning: several comments below :)
1. How cute is Rauly in her denim skirt and argyle tights?! LOVE IT!! She is such a little fashionista!
2. The pictures of you and the kids on pj/movie night are priceless. It is obvious y'all were having a blast!
3. Glad Chad could drive around in the huge truck and glad he could get a little shut eye on the couch! What a blessing to have a husband who works so hard to provide for his family!
4. Finally, I LOVED the video of Shepherd reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. It takes a very smart boy to remember all of those words!

I loved the pics, but oh my gosh! The video was absolutely precious! What a big boy to say all of those long words. I especially loved his interpreted words of what he thinks he hears every day! Darlin' and priceless! Thanks Linda for getting that on video! I watched it 3 times in a row and cracked up every time!!! Can't wait to see you all in person!

Rauly looks like she's a daddy's girl, that's good! I think women who are daddy's girls are always so confident. You will have to do a huge post on homecoming, for all of us that won't be there.
So did you carve on the pumpkins, and what kind of faces did you make?

How cute! I love the pictures! Watching kid shows with the kids is a good idea. I always seem to be busy with something else when my kids watch tv.

Terri - the Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Bible are usually taught in Private christian schools or at church. They're kind of similar to the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag but harder to memorize since you don't hear them nearly as often.

Sarah - We didn't carve on those pumpkins because they were too small, but tomorrow we're going to another pumpkin patch and will definitely be carving on those!!

Cute pictures! I LOVE Rauly's tights! She is too cute in those. And the one of Shep in his PJs is so cute. I haven't watched video cause I can't when I'm at school (don't worry, the kids are at PE. I'm not checking blogs while they are in the room!)

Love Rauly's tights! I wish we were going to Homecoming to see you guys and all the other hu bloggers!
When I want adalie to sit still I can turn on Elmo and it is the best feeling to just have her sit still in my lap for me to kiss on her for a while. Scary how it transfixes her though. You are such a fun mommy!
