Gearin' up for Halloween....

Well, we couldn't carve pumpkins till it actually felt like Fall outside and tonight - Fall has FINALLY come!!! Our family went to Dennis and Linda's house for some homemade Chili and Baked Potatoes (which were excellent by the way - thanks Linda!!) and some good fellowship! After dinner, we all went out on their huge front porch and carved out pumpkins...I think Chad and Jenny had more fun then anyone else! :) I think they turned out awesome and it was so nice to actually have to wear a sweater outside - I love enjoying the changes in the seasons! Stay tuned for our next post...Halloween costumes...

Those pumpkins did turn out great! I love the lighted pumpkin--what a wonderfully creative idea. I have never seen anything quite like it. Glad you were able to enjoy the cool fall weather. Can't wait to see pics of the kiddos' Halloween costumes :)

What a fun night! We were going to do that last night, but we realized that our pumpkin had rotted, so we're going to buy another and try it tonight! I love that idea of the lights! Oh, and I'm SO excited for you about the new washer dryer! I really want new ones and look forward to that day! Hope y'all have a wonderful Halloween!

I never thought about turning a pumpkin into a light brite display! What a great idea! My favorite pics were the father/son shots of Chad and Shep... there's nothing like a Daddy and his boy!
