Rauly graduated today!!!

....From the Lil' Gym Birdy class. ;) She had a surprise visit from her Meemaw and Aunt Jenny which she just loved...Chad and Shepherd also came to see all that she's learned over the last semester. She did so good today and had fun showing off all she's learned. In the Fall she'll be a part of the Beastie class (sounds awful I know!) She'll be in with all her old friends from this past semester which will make it really fun! They had an award ceremony at the end of the class (ie,...the teacher randomly handed out ribbons to all the kids who were exploring the equipment)! There are LOTS of pictures for my mom who really wanted to be here...too bad there is 15 hours between us. :(

On a different note - HAPPY 84th BIRTHDAY TO CHAD'S GRANNY!!! We love you and hope you have a wonderful day!!!

How much fun does that look!! I may have to enroll Ava in something like that when she gets bigger. We have one here too. What all does it involve? I'd like to hear about it if you get the chance. Did you make a decision about going back to teaching yet? I've been thinking about you! Hope you're doing good. Love you, Shauri

So cute! I love the pigtails. She is looking like such a little girl, no more baby. I was impressed with some of her talents. I don't even think I could swing on that bar! It would be funny to watch though. Ha Ha

Shauri - It's once a week (we do it every Saturday morning, but they offer several different class times). The commitment is for an entire semester (they offer 3 semesters a year, fall/spring/summer). I'm sure that Ava would love it and they start the classes at such a young age so you may want to check in to it now so that she can get signed up for the next semester!! Also, they allow the older sibling to play in the back room with toys, or watch d.v.d.'s if you don't have anyone to babysit for you while your child participates in the class...Chad was always available to do that for me on Saturday mornings so we never needed that but I know there were many parents who took advantage of it.

Melissa - you should see some of the parents trying to do what their 18 month olds are doing...the class can be very funny and you know me - always ready to laugh! There has been many times where I've literally had to look the other way and stifle my giggles. :) (What am I saying though,...you saw the pic of me doing a barrel roll on the floor with Rauly - I'm guilty of being the "embarassing mommy"!!)

Rauly was so cute doing everything. She seemed to bask in all the attention! What a cutie! I'm so glad you have her enrolled again, especially since she enjoyed it so much and it was great mom and daughter time. I would have really loved to have seen it in person, but you do a great job with the pics! Thank you! I especially loved the picture of you and Rauly on the mat. I'm so glad Linda and Jenny were able to see our new budding star! I can't wait to see you guys! Love you!

Lindsey, this was so much fun--thanks for inviting us to come! I can't wait to see her in her "Beasties" class in the Fall....
See you soon!
Jenny

I've thought about doing that with Adalie in the future-do you recommend it and at what age?

Kim - I would recommend it! I would say that once your child is crawling it would be appropriate! When they're walking it's even better...but I think if you're child isn't walking yet, it would most likely encourage that sooner!
