Wow!!! This has been a CRAZY past 3 days!! Saturday was spent in Palatka with all of Chad's extended family (see the previous post). Sunday was spent in St.Augustine with all of Chad's immediate family and yesterday was spent in Valdosta,GA with all of the Hicks family and friends.

I could just kick myself for not bringing my camera on Sunday. I have a feeling that someone will post pics of our day on the Siegel Family Blog eventually so if anyone wants to see - you can check that blog periodically. Chad's cousins who live in Birmingham came to visit us - some of you who live in Birmingham might know the Moore's (Keith, Erin, Harrison and Elizabeth-Anne)- they attended Homewood C of C for several years. Neways, it was such a fun day of swimming, visiting, and just laughing!! We always love opportunities to get together with family and we are looking forward to our next get-together!! Thanks again Missy for planning it!!

On Memorial Day, we headed down to Valdosta to see the Hicks, the Lee's and the Blounts! It was wonderful to get to spend the day with John, Melissa and Kayden! Melissa is really beginning to show and looks beautiful. Little Janey may still be in the womb, but Melissa's belly received so much tender affection - I feel confident that Janey could feel how much she is loved! This time is so bittersweet...I think everyone is just trying to soak up Melissa's pregnancy and give Janey all the love she deserves...even if she hasn't been born yet! From beginning to end, the day was great! While the women stayed at the house and visited, the men rode 4-wheelers. Not only is their lot huge - but they have a screened-in pool and hot tub that we got to spend the afternoon in. It was a full house!! Melissa's parents (Jim and Kathy), Kristin's parents (Mike and Cindy), Melissa's friends since childhood (Patience, Brad and their two kids Reagan and Rowan), Kristin's brother Aaron and their granny Jewel, along with a few other visitors who dropped by. The more the merrier though and we had a blast! We feel SO blessed to have such amazing family and friends - we have been close to our friends for so many years that they all feel like family at this point...we know that so many of the friends we made at HU will be lifelong friends and we are thankful to God for that. Thanks John and Melissa for having us in to your home - we are so glad we got to spend the day with all of ya'll!!! :)

Thanks for the comments! I loved the 2nd graders ... they're big enough to do things for themselves and too small to have much of an attitude! I'll try not to post too many pics of Searcy :) I hope you do come back before october!
