DATE NIGHT!!!!! WHOOHOOOOO!!!
Friday night Chad and I celebrated Valentines Day! His parents came over to watch our kiddo's which means that when we got home both of them were tucked in bed fast asleep- thanks again Dennis and Linda!! We decided that it would be fun to try out some places that we've never been so we went to this hole in the wall cuban restaraunt that was awesome!! It was tiny and the owner was cuban and had such a great accent - the food was excellent and the room was very intimate so we felt like it was just the two of us. We will definitely be going back there!!

The next place we went was to the theater to see Pans Labrynth - however -as we were purchasing our tickets, the ticket lady informed us that the movie was entirely in spanish and had subtitles in English...no thank you!! Since there wasn't really anything else we wanted to see, we ended up skipping the movies all together.

We decided to window shop at the mall and Chad ended up finding a great corduroy jacket! He's never owned one before but knows how much I love that style so he decided it would be a good purchase. It was 75% off - can't beat that!!!

While living in Arkansas, we used to always hang out at a coffee shop called Sufficient Grounds. We haven't had a chance to find a low key coffee shop like that yet, so we just went to Books-A-Million and got some JoeMuggs coffee while we read magazines. Over all, it was a really great relaxing evening!!!

I love Sufficient Grounds! Yummy! I haven't been there since high school and I live in AR! Date nights are so nice. I'm glad you and hubby got to spend some alone time together. Getting out just the two of you is something rare I know. Did you talk about the kiddo's all night? That's what Justin and I end up doing. We'll go out on a date and talk about Jace the entire night and talk about how we can't wait to see him. Take care girl! Love you! Shauri

It sounds like you had a wonderful evening! I am so glad you got some time alone with Chad. Hopefully you'll be able to have a lot more date nights now that you're in Jacksonville and have Chad's parents close by. Hope you have a great week.

What a fun date! It's always great when you find a new restaurant that's good! That makes me want to go on a date now. We got tcby to go while James slept in the car for Valentine's Day this year! :)
