Where do I start?!!!!

This has been an ULTRA crazy month and it's only going to get crazier! I left for AR last week and for those of you Arkansan's reading this - my mom takes full blame for not letting me tell anyone I was in town. The past 3 trips to AR have been so filled with activities with friends that I've not been able to spend much time with my family, so for this trip, all of my time was devoted to my parents, my brother, aunts and uncles, and my grandparents. For those of you who knew Jacob at Harding or just from living in Searcy, he's doing great in Portland,OR and has a great job at a University where he just received a promotion. He may look a bit rough with his crazy hair (he did get a haircut when he arrived in AR), but he's actually really cleaned up his act and is what I'd call a "professional" now. He's amazing on the guitar and has been asked to start playing at local clubs throughout the city - he's hoping that will go somewhere...he's so talented and I'm glad to see he's using it to entertain others! Anyways, I was spouse-less for this trip which means I had to make the 12 hour drive solo with the kiddo's...they were unbelievably awesome and made the trip enjoyable (thanks to 2 D.v.D. players, books and LOTS of snacks!).

While I was in AR, our realtor called to say he had a prospective buyer for our house and a couple is suppossed to make an offer at some point today (fingers crossed)!!! It would be a blessing to have our house sold by the time we officially leave for Jacksonville which will be at the end of December.

Between traveling, packing, buying, selling and Chad preparing for his new curriculum, there's NO way we're going to manage to send out our annual Christmas/New Years card - but we have SO enjoyed receiving all of your beautiful family pics as well as cards and letters!!! Every day has been so fun opening mail and seeing familiar faces - thank you to everyone who is continuing to keep us updated! We have ALL of your pictures up on our fridge and LOVE looking at them!

Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Congrats on selling your house. Don't want to put more pressure on you when you come to Little Rock BUT make sure we get a visit sometime!!!!:)
I had surgery last Monday and was in the hospital until Wednesday so we were out of pocket this time anyway. But please let us know when you are this way so we can have you over.
Love,
Teresa

Teresa - I remember hearing you were going to be having a surgery soon but I had no idea it was this past week - how are you feeling?! We'll definitely make a point of getting with you guys the next time we're in town...I hate it that we couldn't see ya'll this past trip - I just had so much family in town and there was NO way they were going to share us. :)

Melissa - I guess you got your blog to finally allow you to make comments - I was missin' you on here! :) Can't wait till we're in Jax and we can go shoppin' at the malls there...our hubbies may not be too happy about it but we've got to teach our girlies how to "find the deals" at some point!

Linds- I am so happy that your house sold..what a burden lifted!! Unfortunately, our house in Ohio still has not sold!! Next time you're in Arkansas, we really have to get together...but I understand the family thing and I know how precious that time is with the grandkids for your mom. I still can't believe you drove 12 hours with both kids...you are a great mommy!

I understand about having to see EVERYONE while being back home and sometimes you need to just lay low so the family can get enough time in. Congrats on the house sale! God is so good!
