This is a very sad post to write, but I just wanted to take a moment to show respect to a friend from Harding University who gave his life for our country. His name is Micah Gifford and I will always remember his clear blue eyes, his zest for life and his love of fun. Chad will always remember their football days as well as their days of selling fireworks together - fun memories that will now forever be sacred. Please pray for his family and friends whose hearts are hurting.

This is Micah's MySpace for those of you who wanted to check it out.

It was hard to hear the news this morning from Scott. Scott is in the process of writing a release for the website about Micah. I'll let everyone know when it is posted. When I was searching for Micah's picture in our archives, the one I found was him smiling like the goofball that he so often was. I smiled when I saw it.

What is his website address? Can you please put up a link when you get the info? I think my husband knew him.

Wow - I can't believe I happened across your site just to read that ...

I'd known Micah for a long time, and this is shocking news.

Hey Wes - I'm so sorry you found out through reading my blog...I honestly figured word had spread and that everyone in Searcy would have known by now. Kim left a website you can check out that is very humbling and shows just how much he will truly be missed.
