Chad is off on Wednesday's and Sunday's, and since the majority of our Sunday is spent at church, we always attempt to have Wednesday completely dedicated to doing family activites. Part of the reason we chose to not enroll Shepherd in private school at the last minute was based on the fact that it would take away from daddy/son time. On Wednesday's we typically go to the beach, or go to Jacksonville,FL to see his family, or go to the YMCA and swim in their new pool facility...but we haven't done good about learning about the Savannah history. So, today, after relaxing all morning, we decided to go down Victory Drive (a famous street in Savannah that has gorgeous southern mansions) and check out Forsyth park - which is 21 acres and was developed in the mid 1800's. We had such a good time and stayed till it started raining on us! Before we left we went in to Brighter Day - which is a really cool organic store - we always meet the most interesting people when we go in there! :) Anyways, we came home, popped a pizza in the oven and had an early dinner. We're about to head out again, but wanted to share pics from our day! Hope you're all doing well!

Savannah is such a lovely Southern city. We have always enjoyed our visits there. One spring break Larry and I stopped in Forsythe Park and took pictures. We had fun swinging in those swings. I have a picture of the fountain in our family room. Now I am hungry for "Lady and Sons"!!!!
Glad you are enjoying the day together as a family!
Love,
Teresa
