ON THE BOTTOM LEFT SIDE OF THE SLIDESHOW THERE IS A +/- SIGN...USE THAT TO SPEED OR SLOW DOWN THE SLIDESHOW! ALSO - CLICK ON THE PICS IF YOU NEED TO KNOW NAMES OF WHO'S IN THE PHOTO! Trust me - this is LONG and you'll want to use those features! Ok, now you can read the post! :)

We made it safely to Arkansas on Saturday afternoon and relaxed the rest of the day with my mom and Mike. The next day we went to Little Rock Church for service and to see childhood friends! It was great to see everyone and for them to have the opportunity to see our kids! Sunday afternoon we went to Cracker Barrel to meet my dad for lunch and then dad and I went to see his brother who is in the hospital. He's not doing well, so I was so thankful to have the opportunity to give him a hug and say "I love you" one more time before we came back to Savannah. Monday we went to the new Discovery Museum in Little Rock with my dad- very neat! The kids loved this!

Tuesday we went left for Branson,MO to take advantage of mom and Mike's timeshare. We stayed in a beautiful rustic house at the Big Cedar Lodge. Our view overlooked the Table Rock Lake and many other cabins in the woods! On Wednesday Chad and I went shopping at the Outlet Malls and on Thursday we went to Silver Dollar City (for free! - One of the perks of having a timeshare...). The kiddo's LOVED Silver Dollar City...they had a lot of new things geared to Shepherd's age. There are 3 restaraunts at the Lodge, so there are a few pics of us eating dinner on the grounds at a beautiful restaraunt that overlooks the lake!

Friday night, after we returned from Branson, Chad and I went to Reagan and Jennifer Baber's house for a get-together with several couples we're close to! It was SOOOO much fun! Chad and I are so blessed to have so many friends and although we wish we lived closer to everyone, we're thankful we all have schedule's that can allow for get-togethers when we're back in town! Although there were 2 couples that weren't able to come (the Neal's little boy Carter was sick and the Hernandez' family couldn't come) we had a great turn out and the food and fellowship were great!

Saturday was a super long day (who am I kidding...every day on this trip was long, but so much fun!). Saturday morning, Mac and Amy Bell (with the help of Canaan) took our family pics in Little Rock, and then we were off to Harding's homecoming. Chad and I got to see the new Heritage building as well as the beautiful campus that is SO different! The game was very exciting and we ended up winning by a touchdown in overtime - GO HARDING BISON! We got to visit with tons of old friends (and family) and after the game, Chad and I attended an alumni football reunion where we visited with the coaches and ex-players. I could just kick myself for not getting more pics of alumni Kojies and Pikes, as well as the other friends we made while we attended Harding, but it was great to see everyone! (Amanda - you've got the cutest preggo belly and Lauren, James is a doll!)

After the game, we headed to Terri Lee's house to celebrate Kayden Hicks 1 year birthday! Terri's house is darlin' and it was fun to get to watch Kayden open presents and eat b-day cake! Her birthday isn't for a few more days, but we were thankful to have the opportunity to help celebrate with everyone! We left for Savannah at 8pm that night - what a whirlwind trip! Thank you God for family, friends and safe travels and thank you all for taking the time to read about our trip!
